This ignition kit is designed to replace the points and condenser inside the Lucas D3A4 Distributor.

This distributor was fitted as standard to Massey Ferguson MF 35, TEA 20, 135, and TED 20 Tractors.

Some records indicate that the D3A4 was also fitted to other commercial vehicles and passenger cars, Commer, including Nuffield Vehicles, Sewage Vehicles, Coventry Climax Engines,

Lansing Bagnall Tractors as well as cars from MG, Morris, Hillman and Ford, however we have not yet come across the D3A4 fitted to any of these cars…

but there may still be a chance that your classic car uses a D3A4 distributor.
