This is shown just to illustrate the different gears that can be fitted into this motor. In this case this is a 110 Degree Angle Drive gear that's rated correct for a Classic Mini, but it is also found on many other cars. We are able to supply this gear. It is not included in this offer here.

Your own drive gear will more than likely fit into the white nylon slot picture in the motor. They are designed to be interchangeable.

Note the underside of the cover has a raided portion that will press down on the drive rod once it is installed This should be lubricated with the grease.

The actual Nylon lined slot in which the rod from the wiper drive track runs measures 10mm wide and 9.5mm deep. 

The length that the rod moves in and out is of course determined by the angle of the sweep.
