Now this little rubber Gaiter or seal is more important than you may think.

It seals the aperture around the Check Strap mechanism of the door and at the same time the aperture that the Check Strap sides into on the door.

This hole is often the source of leaks into the footwell of the car as rain flows down the A Pillar of the body work. If the Gaiter or seal is squashed or perished or even just missing the water will flow into the car.... and damage will occur over time. 

A very easy fix to a persistent problem!!

You really need two per car, because if one is broken you can bet the other is on the way out....

Sort it out with this simple fix.
