Triumph Herald Spitfire Vitesse Thrust Washers - Standard Size pair - 104820

Standard crankshaft thrust washer set to suit Triumph Herald, Spitfire and Vitesse engines.

This set are the original factory size set.

These thrust washers ensure the correct clearance between the crankshaft and the engine block.

If the gap is not correct you will get fore and aft movement on the crankshaft, particularly when pressing the clutch pedal.

If the movement is not corrected then eventually the washers can drop out of the slot where they are held and damage to the engine Block and Crankshaft will occur.
