Triumph Metering Unit Drive Dog -Coupling - 149595
Coupling / Drive dog  for the metering unit to distributor pedestal. Beware of inferior parts that melt in modern petrol.
This is an essential component of the mechanical fuel injection system and acts as a sacrificial part should the metering unit seize or develop excessive resistance. The drive dog is designed to shear if the resistance exceeds normal limits, protecting the expensive metal drive components from irreparable damage.
