You will normally replace both gaskets when removing the boot lid so these gaskets are sold as a pair

This Kit comprises both sides of the hinge Gasket :

2 x  Boot Lid Side Gaskets.         603212

2 x Car Deck Side Gaskets          603213

Sold as a  Pair Of Gaskets - Both Sides.  (4 Pieces)

Aside from the obvious water leak issue these gaskets act as a cushion for the hinge from the actual steel of the lid.

Without the correct gasket this is an obvious place for rust spots to form on your body work.
