Never operate the engine without a Thermostat fitted.

This item brings the engine up to operating temperature which ensures that all the tolerances are as they were designed. Operating too cold is a huge cause of premature engine wear.

Be very wary of any engine that has had the thermostat removed. There is always a reason why that has been done.

Rather cure the overheating issue than remove this very important piece of equipment from the system.

Thermostat 82 degree GTS104.  (82 Degree Celsius = 179 Degree Fahrenheit - Opening Temperature)
