Powerlite UK made High torque, Lightweight  starter Motor. 

MGB, MGC pre-engaged replacement

This unit replaces the Pre Engaged Starter Only. (Identified by built in solenoid in the original starter Motor.)

Note the Mounting boss or ring on this starter motor is 81.95mm

The mounting Holes are 127mm - 130mm centre to centre (Nominal) but note the one hole is slotted 

Strong, powerful, offset gear-reduced starter motor, delivering huge cranking torque through a set of steel internal gears. Lightweight, compact and durable this unit starts the engine faster with immense power, whilst drawing less current from the battery.

Replaces OEM part numbers: GXE4441 / 13H6130 / LRS00184 / 25654B

Note this starter motor is a direct replacement for Lucas Starter motor 25654b  - cross reference this to a Lucas part number, LRS00184

MGB GT & Roadster  with pre-engaged starter motor (easily identified by having the solenoid direct mounted on the starter) and 4 synchro gearbox from 1967 to 1980 (not V8)

MGC Pre Engaged Starter Motor    2912 cc  1967 -1969  

All MGC GT and Roadster with 4 synchro gearbox.

(Note there is another model of High Torque Starter Motor that suits a slightly different model of MGB. The difference is a different style of mount for the Starter Motor. This item is known as the RAC104 and you can find it by clicking on this link RAC104)
