You need the correct spring for this operation to ensure the correct feel to the pedal.

This Spring works for both the Clutch Pedal and the Brake Pedal but with differences outlined below

Brake Pedal Return Spring:   All Models or you can upgrade to the AAA1628  (COM130) 

As a Clutch Pedal Return Spring :   803cc and 948cc Engine Cars

For the later model cars from chassis 990290 onwards a heavier Clutch Return spring was used. See our item AAA1628 (COM130)
