Mechanical Fuel Pump Classic Mini BMC & British Leyland  to 1990.    AZX1818MS

As fitted to British Motor Corp (BMC) and British Leyland cars including Classic Minis

Fits all Minis with a fuel pump on the back of the cylinder block.

Strictly speaking there are two types of mechanical fuel pump, but the only difference is the size of the outlet pipe up to the carburettor, otherwise the pumps are identical in their operation.

Not suitable for 1990 on. (Note : For 1275cc engines from 1990 onwards  a different pump Item AZX1817 was used.)

Mechanical fuel pump driven off the camshaft at the rear of the Engine.

Dependant upon the vehicle you should use the spacer block as fitted to your engine.
