Classic Mini Lockheed Brake Master Cylinder. Single line 0.70 Bore   GMC171ORIGINAL

Original AP Lockheed type metal body master cylinder.

Fitted with the plastic cap 

0.70" Bore size, these were remanufactured again from Oct 2003 after originally being replaced by the plastic reservoir type.

Originally master and clutch were a drab silver/light grey colour.

Ensure the correct DOT4 or DOT5.1 brake fluid is used as these cylinders are not designed to use anything else such as Castrol SRF for racing.

AP changed the cylinders from the golden colour to a glossy silver colour. The reason for this is that all products must be free from Hexavalent by 2007 which gives this gold colour during the plating process.
