Triumph TR6 Cars from commission number CP series cars are fitted with a floor mounted, foot operated headlamp dip/main beam change-over switch.

All Triumph TR6s after commission number CR1 had the headlamp dip on the lighting switch mounted on the steering column.

Wiring for this varies from the original wiring colours and is as follows:

- Brown Wire is power to Flash Feature
- Red Wire is power in to High / Low Beam
- Blue Wire is power out to Low Beam
- White Wire is power out to High Beam
