Classic Mini Mk3 and Mk4 to 1985. Door check strap grommet.

Note these grommets are handed in that they are angled to take up the door as it shuts.

The grommets are Black Rubber.... in the photos they are covered in a white storage powder which wipes off easily.

This is the Left Hand side Check Strap Grommet. CZH4053

This grommet fits into the slot in the A Pillar.

It is hugely important in keeping moisture out of the car as without it, water will run down the inside of the door pillar and then find its way down into the seams of the car and the floor are.

If your carpets are getting a little soggy and you cannot work out how its getting in.... Check that these grommets are sealing correctly.

This Grommet does not fit cars with external door hinges.
