Four Bushes are required per car.

Ok... so whats the deal here?  How come these are so much more expensive over the aftermarket bushes ?

Its all to do with the quality of the rubber of course.

Anecdotally, the cheaper rubber items and bushes that are sold these days contain less carbon black in the rubber compound. This then allows the rubber to "perish" and soften sooner than the old styles of rubber compound. We are not sure if this is economic or if its environmental. Either way... a denser rubber is more desirable and costs a little more.

So if you are happy to change bushes frequently... buy the aftermarket item, but if you want a bit more longevity... this is your set.

Fits Classic Minis up to 1996  (Including 1275 & 1275GT)

This is a wearing part that needs to be changed frequently to stop the engine rocking on its mounts.

That movement can do all sorts of damage to parts such as the exhaust pipe clamps etc.
