This tool inserts that shiny strip , or indeed it may even be a black strip into the groove in the rubber windscreen seal.

Do not risk the windscreen seal, or indeed the windscreen its self by using that old Screw Driver or other tool you found on the bench... or in the kitchen drawer.

Its just not worth it.

This tool withstands the pressure and will not snap off and damage your new screen

As with all jobs on these Classic Cars having the right tool for the job means you are halfway there already!!
