D21 distributor 59d for A+ Engine - High energy
The Lucas 59D distributor was used in the Mini from 1982 onwards in A Plus engines.
It is is suitable for any vehicle that uses the Lucas 59D 4 Cylinder Distributor, such as the Austin Metro and Allegro, as well as some Morris vehicles.
Our 59D is available as points or electronic, with electronic variants being negative earth, positive earth, or High Energy (negative).
This distributor is fitted with a vacuum advance, as it was from the factory.
All of our distributors have been developed to run on modern fuel, with a modern advance curve giving them a wide universal fitment.
The 998cc and 1275cc have an advance curve specifically developed to run well in those engines when used in a Mini or Metro.
